Specialised support for children with ADHD

ADHD doesn't mean a child can't learn — it means they learn differently. Krisie combines Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) with individualised educational strategies to help children with ADHD build focus, executive function, and academic confidence. Sessions are available in home and school settings across Greater Vancouver.

"Every child with ADHD has their own pace and their own strengths. My job is to build a structure around those strengths — not around the diagnosis."

Frequently asked questions

What makes BCBA-led ADHD tutoring different from regular tutoring?

A BCBA brings behaviour-science tools that general tutors don't have — functional assessment, data tracking, reinforcement systems, and executive function strategies grounded in ABA research. The focus is on why your child struggles, not just what subject they're behind in.

Does my child need an ADHD diagnosis before starting?

No. Many children begin support while waiting for an assessment — or without ever seeking one. If your child is struggling at school or home, that's enough to start. Krisie uses functional observation to identify what support is needed.

What age range do you work with?

Support is available for children aged 2–12, covering preschool through primary school. Early intervention is most effective, but meaningful progress is possible at any age within this range.

Can sessions be in Cantonese?

Yes. Krisie is fluent in Cantonese and English, with working Mandarin. Many families across Greater Vancouver choose sessions in Cantonese so that parents can be fully involved in their child's support plan.

Where do sessions take place?

Sessions are available across Greater Vancouver including Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Surrey, Coquitlam, and North Vancouver — in the family home or at school, depending on your child's needs.
