Neurodivergent children — those with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, developmental language disorder, or other differences in how they learn and process information — don't need to learn less. They need to learn differently. Krisie combines the science of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) with individualised educational strategies to support neurodivergent children across Greater Vancouver in achieving their full academic potential.
"Neurodivergence is not a deficit — it's a different operating system. The right support doesn't change the child; it changes what's possible for them."
Focus, attention, executive function, and academic skills through structured, reinforcement-based learning.
ABA-grounded academic and communication support tailored to each child's autism profile.
Structured literacy instruction for children with reading difficulties, whether diagnosed or not.
Developmental delays, language difficulties, undiagnosed learning struggles — all welcome, no referral needed.
Why Choose Krisie
Every strategy is grounded in ABA research. Progress is tracked with data, not gut feeling — so you always know what's working.
Krisie is fluent in English and Cantonese, with working Mandarin. The whole family can be involved, in the language they're most comfortable with.
Flexible delivery across Greater Vancouver — in your home, at school, or wherever your child learns best.
No two children are alike, and no two support plans are either. Assessment comes first, then a plan built around your child specifically.
How It Works
We start by understanding your child: their learning differences, strengths, current challenges, and your family's goals.
Functional observation and informal assessment to build a clear picture of your child's learning profile.
A bespoke plan with measurable goals, combining ABA principles with academic targets.
Consistent sessions, data tracking, and regular family communication — adapting the plan as your child grows.
Common Questions
Neurodivergent describes people whose brains work differently from what's considered typical — including those with ADHD, autism (ASD), dyslexia, developmental language disorder (DLD), dyscalculia, and other neurological differences. Children without a formal diagnosis but with clear learning or behaviour differences are also welcome.
No. A diagnosis can be useful context, but it's never a requirement. If your child is struggling — whether or not anyone has put a name to why — that's enough to start. Krisie uses functional assessment to identify what support is needed.
Yes. Co-occurring conditions (such as ADHD and autism together, or autism and dyslexia) are common. Krisie conducts a holistic assessment and builds an integrated plan that addresses your child's full profile, rather than treating each diagnosis separately.
Services are available across Greater Vancouver including Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Surrey, Coquitlam, North Vancouver and West Vancouver. Sessions are delivered in the home or at school — please confirm your specific area during the initial consultation.
